Summer is a time for relaxing, hanging out with friends & family, celebrating holidays, & brand new Reality Shows!!
I must admit that I am a fan of a lot of cooking reality shows. So many that my DVR has a time keeping up with them, but I am making room for one more & man is this a good one! On July 10th I am all set up to watch Tough Cookies on the Food Network. Here is the synopsis from Food Network:
This summer, the only things more popular than the beach in Ocean City, N. J., are the cookies at Crazy Susan’s. Run by a loving, squabbling and cacophonous multigenerational family, Crazy Susan’s never knows a dull moment. Sisters Susan and Linda try to keep everything running smoothly — but with lines out the door, phones that never stop ringing and family members who seem to create more problems than solutions, they’ll need to work their tails off to keep those cookies from crumbling.
How much fun does that sound! So if you are like me & have an addiction nice time watching reality shows, don’t forget about this little gem on Food Network July 10th at 10pm/9c:)
It is almost officially Summer, even though for some of us it has felt like Summer for a couple of weeks!
Summer is such a great time of the year. To me it means the beach, Fourth of July, Cool Drinks, & Ice Cream. Here are some sweet treats that are becoming my faves this Summer:
I know that this is going to come as a surprise to most of you so here goes, I LOVE cookies, and one of my favorite things to do is check all of the cool things that you can do with cookies. Nowadays cookies aren’t just yummy little circles with some chocolate chips thrown in; they can be amazing & fun. The other day while I stalking checking out my favorite sites, I came across this little gem at Bake at 350.
Isn’t this one of the cutest things you have ever seen? The possibilities are endless when you can draw on a cookie. I cannot wait until I get my kids to Jacksonville & have their Nona (AKA the head cookie maker) whip us up some of these bad boys. This also might curtail the drawing on the walls that they are so fond of. I’ll update you on their creations, but until then, what kind of ideas or inspirations do these cookies give you?
Riverside Arst Market – April 16, 2011
We have so much fun meeting new people and introducing our Flippin’ Good Cookies to everyone whether we are at Riverside Arts Market, Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce meetings, Visit Jacksonville functions or any number of great events in Northeast Florida. We thought we would let some random folks try a sample of our cookies and see what they thought……Enjoy this unedited ”feedback” ![]()
We welcome YOU to try a Free sample when you see us out and about with our cookies:)
Have a Flippin’ Good Week!
Started thinking the other day about a customer asking us how long our cookies lasted…I said “If you leave them out, just a few days, but they stay very well in the freezer”….The reason is because we use no preservatives or additives….Packaged cookies from the store can last forever because they are pumped with all kinds of things we cannot even pronounce! It is a pleasure for us everyday to bring you the freshest cookies made with the freshest ingredients that make them Flippin’ Good! Check out our blog over the weekend for some cool news on our birthday cookies and other yummy news! You’re the best for following our blog and we promise to always make it Flippin’ FUN and interesting
The Riverside Arts Market (RAM) http://www.riversideartsmarket.com/ has started its new season again. We love our customers and what better way to get wonderful feedback than when your customers are always coming back for more and more cookies. Hope to see you next Saturday.
Love is in the air.
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, what are you going to get your sweetheart?
The only thing scary about these cookies is how good they taste, and they would be perfect for any Fall or Halloween extravaganza!
This weekend has to be one of the best we’ve had in a long time! We did the Riverside Arts Market on Saturday & then the Kick Off for a Cure on Sunday. It was a blast!
We love the Riverside Arts Market & this weekend was no exception. We had 3 generations of Flippin’ Good Cookies there with us too!
On Sunday, we had the honor of going to Kick Off for a Cure to benefit Cystic Fibrosis. This is a wonderful cause & it was so great to see everyone who came out to support it.
We love music here at the Flippin’ Headquarters. We want to see how many of you love music too. Leave us a comment & share your love for music, by thinking of a song to go with these super cute cookies!
The person with the most unique & interesting song choice will win 6 of our original scrumptious cookies!!!
Sometimes the old reliable cookies are the best, at least that is what our Flippin’ fans think:) We are so glad everyone enjoyed them Elayne!

Hi Janice!
I just had to tell you how happy Perry was when he received the cookies. His parents were there and they said that they had to purchase more to take back to NJ because they were so delicious. “Just like homemade – right outta the oven!”
Thank you so much for your help and for making his move from the DC area so much more enjoyable. My daughter plans to “bother” you a lot during Perry’s time at law school!
You’re the best!!! (and so are your cookies!!!)
Elayne
This cookie is one of my all time faves! I could not pass up the opportunity to take this amazing wedding invitation & bring it to life. This is why I love making cookies!

It started with this AMAZING invitation!

It ended with this FAB cookie!
Why is it that people only think of hearts on Valentine’s Day? There are so many other reasons for you to send your heart to someone. We met a mom the other day whose daughter went off to college. This mom wanted her daughter to know that she was always in her heart, so she sent her these precious heart cookies:) I can’t think of a better reason to send your heart!

sweet hearts
This past weekend we had the pleasure of making cookies for a cute little puppies birthday party. This little pup, Bentley, turned 2 & we made some precious logo cookies for his party. This was our first venture into a puppy party & we loved it!

Happy 2nd Birthday Bentley!!
